Symplectic is used to record research outputs, impact, grants and professional activities. It is also used for output review. Information and advice on how and when to add research outputs and any open access requirements can be found here.  

Depositing your research outputs into Symplectic will add them to White Rose Research Online, the research repository for the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York. The Library checks all deposited outputs before making them available.  

You will be asked to link your ORCiD iD to the system. For more information about how the University may use your ORCiD iD see Symplectic and data protection.
